How OrientDig QC photos work
OrientDig links name the shop type and the item id (shop_type=weidian, id=…), so the finder goes straight to the listing. Paste one, or a link from any other agent, and see the QC photos on record for that item. Nothing to install: it works in the browser on a phone or a computer.
QC photos are the pictures an agent's warehouse takes of an item after the seller has delivered it and before it ships abroad. OrientDig takes them of your own order; this finder shows you the ones other buyers already received for the same listing, so you can judge a seller's current batch before you pay for anything.
It does not matter which agent took a photo: the item came from the same seller and the same listing, so it is just as useful for an OrientDig order. On this spreadsheet 1667 finds already have photos on record; they are marked QC on every listing page.
Most finds here are Weidian listings, and the finder reads Taobao and 1688 links the same way: the photos are matched to the seller's listing.

How to read a QC photo
Measure, don't guess
A photo with a tape measure in it is worth more than any size chart. Match the number against a piece you own that fits, and the letter on the tag stops mattering.
Compare batches, not just photos
When a listing has photos from several dates, look at the newest first. Sellers change factories, and a batch that looked right in spring can drift by autumn.
When to reject
Reject when the flaw is structural (wrong shape, wrong proportions, damage, a clearly different colour from what you ordered) or when several small flaws turn up at once, because that points at the batch rather than the single item.
The stitching
Look for even, dense stitching that runs straight. Wandering or loose stitches are where cheaper production shows itself first, and they are easy to see in a close-up.
Why the photos come before shipping
An item you reject at the warehouse is still in China and you have not paid for international shipping yet. The cost of rejecting is a few days; the cost of not rejecting is paying to fly something across the world that you will not wear.

What are QC photos?
QC stands for quality check. When an order reaches an agent's warehouse in China, staff photograph the actual item (stitching, tags, soles, hardware, often on a measuring mat) before anything ships internationally. You approve or reject it from those photos.
Is the QC finder free?
Yes: no account, no signup, no limit for normal use. The site earns a commission only if you sign up to OrientDig or order through its links.
Where do I find my QC photos on OrientDig?
Once the seller's parcel arrives at OrientDig's warehouse, the item's QC photos appear on the order in your OrientDig account. Look them over before you pay for international shipping; anything wrong can still go back to the seller from China.
Does the QC finder for OrientDig work with other agents' links?
Yes. Links from other agents, and raw Taobao, Weidian or 1688 links, are unwrapped to the seller's listing exactly like an OrientDig link.
Can I reject an item after QC?
The time to reject is at the warehouse, before international shipping, while the item is still in China and an exchange or refund with the seller is possible. Check OrientDig's own return rules for the details.
How do I find QC photos for an OrientDig item?

Does this work as an OrientDig QC checker?
Yes, for other buyers' photos: drop in an OrientDig link, another agent's or a marketplace link, and the finder lists every QC photo on record for that listing. Your own item's photos come from OrientDig after you order.
How is this different from OrientDig's own QC photos?
Yes. OrientDig takes photos of your own order once it reaches the warehouse. The photos here come earlier: they are what other buyers got from the same listing, before you spend anything.
Why are there no QC photos for my link?
Either nobody has ordered that exact listing yet, or no one's photos have reached a public database. It is not a sign the seller is bad, and it does not affect the photos OrientDig takes of your own order.
